Today in LSU news:
- The basketball Tigresses lost to Tennessee in the SEC Championship game. The Vols were able to avenge a loss to LSU earlier in the year.
- The Baseball Team lost to Stetson on Sunday, after taking a double header on Saturday. Sunday’s loss was facilitated by 4 errors from the Tigers.
- And the Basketball team lost to Mississippi State on Saturday.
Today’s Youtubage is from the Bama game and as such, came down to a few choices. The first was the long bomb to Demetrius Byrd – a beautiful throw, and a beautiful catch and run. The second was the Chevis Jackson interception. A great play by Chevis, but the reason that I didn’t select it is because the game changed so much after that play. When Chevis make the pick, I thought LSU was on their way to dominating the game and blowing out the Tide. I should’ve known better. So it came down to two final plays. The first was the Doucet tying TD, coming on 4th and 4, and making the score 34-34. The second was the Chad Jones Sack of Frat Boy, causing the fumble which led to Hester’s winning touchdown. I chose Doucet, because it is such a great play – great pass, great catch, and great move to take it for the score. Enjoy!
