Tuesday’s Tidbits:
- LSU picked up a big early commit yesterday from Russell Shepard, of Houston-Cypress Ridge. Russell Shepard is rated 5* by Scout.com. The Advocate has the full story.
- Anthony Randolph was named Freshman of the Week in the SEC for the fourth time this season.
- And Ryan Verdugo was named SEC pitcher of the week, too.
Today’s Youtubage comes from the Tulane game last year, and while there wasn’t much to enjoy from that, this was one highlight. For those who don’t recall, LSU wore some godawful uniforms in that game – special light purple jerseys, white pants and white helmets. If there is a God and he is merciful, we will never see the Tigers dressed in that again. LSU was down 10-9 at halftime, but pulled away in the second half to win 34-9. This highlight is a 35 yard TD run by Charles Scott which put LSU up by 18 and effectively ended any hopes Tulane had. Enjoy 32.
