I have a post on the LSU Basketball Coach search coming in a little while, but here is the rest of the news from the weekend:
- LSU’s Basketball team defeated fellow SEC cellar-dweller Georgia yesterday at the PMAC.
- LSU’s baseball team swept Duquesne.
- LSU’s hoopin’ chicks finished the SEC undefeated.
- LSU’s runnin’ chicks won the SEC Indoor title.
Today’s Youtubage is a favorite play from the South Carolina game, and really, this too was a no-brainer. Anytime your quarterback makes a no-look over-the-head pass intentionally and completes it to a streaking kicker who sprints for a touchdown, I am giving it special status. This play coming, as it did, late in the first half and with LSU holding a slim 7-point lead, really left the ‘Cocks limp going into halftime. I like this particular clip because it shows the reactions of both Steve Spurrier (“Why you, S.O.B.”) and Les Miles (“I like taffee!”). Enjoy.
