- The LSU basketball team pulled it out in Columbia last night, beating South Carolina 62-55. They tried to give it away, but nutted up during crunch time and won the game. Could this be getting Butch Pierre some cred as a coaching candidate?
- Les Miles addressed the media yesterday, and as expected was asked a lot about the Ryan Perrilloux situation. Miles did not say when Perrilloux could return, but that he needs to ‘do everything right and get back on this team.’
- During spring practice, Miles is planning to give Andrew Hatch and Jarrett Lee each an equal amount of snaps. He hopes to see improvement from both, and that is about all he would say about that.
- LSU also has some chicks who play basketball.
- And some dudes who play baseball.
And now on to fun Youtubage of the day. Today, we are looking at a favorite play from the Virginia Tech game. Of course, this was the game that prompted one famous blog site to dub LSU a ‘werewolf with a chainsaw for a dick.” This game also saw the old SEC adage of greater speed rear its ugly head time and time again, as LSU players ran around, through, over, and past hapless Hokie defenders.
