Not a lot going on. LSU’s basketball chicks lost to #1 UConn last night, in Baton Rouge.
Spring practice hasn’t started yet, either, so our annual breakdown of what none of us saw can’t start yet. I don’t know about you, but I look forward to Dandydon telling ushow much time he spent watching the Tight Ends run drills and such.
So all is quiet.
Which is good. After this last football season, when I personally aged 12 years and had six heart attacks, it is good that we have some quiet time. Frankly, I am kind of glad that the basketball team isn’t making a run at any post-season tourneys, so that I don’t have to worry about that, and I won’t live and die with each dribble-drive and pull-up.
So Tiger fans, enjoy these calm seas. Smooth sailing can be exciting in a doze-off, heart-slowing way. Don’t think about Perrilloux, don’t think about Brady’s replacement, don’t think about life without Hester, just look out on a seemingly endless glassy sea and enjoy the lack of turbulence. It will be back soon enough.
