Les Miles, in an interview with Tracy Wolfson said the following:
LM: “I will be the head coach at LSU next year.”
TW: “So you will be at LSU next year?”
LM: “Absolutely.”
And it is on tape. So Les Miles will be LSU’s coach next year. And if goes to Michigan now, he will be a bigger liar than that coach who took the most storied program in the universe and lost to ULM.

How can you trust him? He’s a quack, especially in interviews. He acts like he was homeschooled and never learned proper social behavior. He needs to be under constant watch.
It’s true – he doesn’t do interviews or press well at all. But he said the magic words, “next year.” Not like earlier in the presser when he said “I plan to be LSU’s coach.” That’s very indefinite, but when he said “next year,” he put firmness on it. His name isn’t Saban, after all. But he still might go, but it will make him a huge liar. Huge.
Ha. I thought this was done, or is Les parsing words. After all, “next year” could simply be in regards to a bowl in the new year. But, as a UM grad, I sure hope that Les will, indeed, be staying at LSU. Les is way overrated and way too full of bluster.
CEB, you may be right. And if he is overrated, he’s probably getting by on Saban’s coattails right now. And his season heroics that looked ‘brave’ at the time might be stupid
